A water pump has to be bad leakin? How I can know if my water pump is working?

I took out the thermostat, full level coolant at the maximum, and my car still overheats, and it does where.How ne know if I can drain the water pump is working?

Overheating usually require a water pump failed. Some leakage of fluid from the drain hole is usually only indicates that the pump will fail. Does water pump make a crack? An abnormal sound of the pump is also an indicator of a pump that is starting to fail. Check that the coolant is full. If completed, see the fan. If the fan does not come on between 185 to 225, the temperature sensor can be bad. Also make sure the thermostat is mounted in the direction correct. If installed backwards, the engine overheats quickly. (This error is very common.) Good luck!
