Tray Composting

Can I put cat urine in the compost pile?
Cat Hannah 15 year old has decided it can not use the cat flap in one night and use carpet Sinkiang in my studio. I try to recycle whenever possible. It is known that human urine accelerates the compost heap. If the use of soil in the litter tray, poo on the toilet, then I put the floor with cat urine in the compost pile? Thank you very much for your responses.
Flushing of cat poop or pee has been found to overcome a disease fatal to sea otters. Put cat pee in the compost pile is not wise that will bring other animals to use the compost heap as a toilet. plus all the places you use this compost smell of cat urine, even the vegetables or fruits grown there. Not a good idea.

The Worm Factroy Composting System 3 Tray
$99.95 The Worm Factroy Composting System CHAR(13) + CHAR(10) Composting Made Easy Worm composting is an incredibly efficient way to convert kitchen scraps into nutrient-rich compost for your garden. Most 'Master Gardeners' consider worm castings to be the very best compost available. Your plants will thrive with this all-natural compost. Sorting out the undigested scraps can be a messy, inconvenient chore with ordinary worm composters. The Worm Factory® automatically separates food scraps from finished compost. Simply fill the bottom tray with red wiggler worms, bedding and food scraps. As the worms finish digesting, they will migrate upward into the tray above, leaving rich castings behind. It couldn't be easier or cleaner. No mess. No unpleasant odors. In full operation, the Worm Factory® houses 10,000 to 12,000 worms, consumes 5 to 8 pounds of food a day, allowing you to harvest a full tray of nutrient rich castings every month. Each Worm Factory® comes with full instructions and everything you need to get started. The Worm Factory® is made in the U.S.A., constructed from high quality recycled plastic, with a limited 5 year warranty on materials and workmanship. It is very simple to assemble and can be stored in or outside. Year Round Production Odor Free Operation Available in 3, 4, or 5 Tray System Only! Easy to Manage Instructions Included Ships Quickly! A Nature’s Footprint, Inc. Design The Worm Factory® allows you to recycle your food and paper scraps, saving them from the landfill. Landfills produce gases during the decomposition process that is harmful to our environment and the ozone layer. By doing your part to recycle, you will be saving our environment and saving money at the same time. Recycling will reduce the amount of garbage you throw away which reduces your garbage bill. Since you are turning trash into nutrient rich compost for your garden, you save on the cost of fertilizers and soil amendments. Adding compost to your soil also increases its water holding capacity, saving water as well. The Worm Factory® 360 is an investment that will pay for itself many times over. |

Composting Toilet
$60.09 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! A composting toilet is an aerobic processing system that treats excreta, typically with no water or small volumes of flush water, via composting or managed aerobic decomposition. This is usually a faster process than the anaerobic decomposition at work in most wastewater systems, such as septic systems. Composting toilets are often used as an alternative to central wastewater treatment plants (sewers) or septic systems. Typically they are chosen to alleviate the need for water to flush toilets, to avoid discharging nutrients and/or potential pathogens into environmentally sensitive areas, or to capture nutrients in human excreta. Several manufactured composting toilet models are on the market, and construct-it-yourself systems are also popular. These should not be confused with pit latrines see latrine, pit latrine, and arborloo or tree bog, all of which are forms of less controlled decomposition, and may not protect ground water from nutrient or pathogen contamination or provide optimal nutrient recycling. |
