Landscape Fabric

Before you can understand how your landscape will slope, you have to ask yourself some questions.

How much money do you have for your project?

What is the size of the hill – it is a 10foot high mountain or just 2 or 3 feet?

Do you want to landscape the entire project?

What type of landscape you want to use – terrace, garden or landscape rock type?

What type of plants you want to use? Do you have favorites?

Want to use your hill to create a waterfall?

Now the big question? Are you a DIY type, or going to hire this done by a professional landscape?

Once you have answered the above questions, then start to develop a landscape plan. Of course, if you hire someone to do the work for you, then they will present their ideas to you for approval.

We only have small gardens hills, created by the dirt that made the hill when the cellar was dug. We have used both the rocks and blocks of diamonds to create terrace. With diamond blocks that can create a nice sculpted look that is incredibly pleasant.

As it descends the hill, the curve of blocks in the slope and disappear, while the ground slopes downward from the sides to the lower level.

An attractive waterfall can be placed on the side if you are the type likes water features. You may or may not have a water pond for the fall. I've seen some wonderful waterfalls disappearing pondless.

When the water disappears it is collected in a tank where it is filtered and continues down the slope in a stream recycling always on.

The sound of water running down rocks in the stream to add the wonderfully peaceful tranquility that people expect in their backyards.

There are some fabrics that are made especially for the creation current slopes and waterfalls. Under the current is a fabric or rubber type material that keeps water running down the hill instead of seeping into the ground. Small rocks the gum line of streambed while large rocks form the edges of the stream. With the proper cement to hold everything together the final rocks can be strategically placed, and then the material is in the design engineering to complete the desired effect. With a pond, the entire pond must be lined with a rubber fabric.

You can have a pond or stream recycling pondless through a filter. If you decide on a pond, which can have the fish in the pond, but there are things you have research for this.

For a pond that has to dig the hole and make sure it is even. Once you are sure it is even, then the material was to form the pond. Has to be filled with water for a few days to ensure no leaks. Then, the surrounding rocks can be met more, with trees and shrubs added to keep the eye to see where the water comes.

Although you can see it in my mind, is likely to have some steps in the process you find fault if you do it yourself. I am enough of a DIY person, if I were younger, I'd probably try it myself. However, with landscaping in the family now, I am happy to pay a landscape of hills for me.
